I know a lot of people do make their own computer and fix their own computers, and by a lot of people I mean about 5% of the people who own computers. Yes, I can make my own computer

An advice forum where it's obvious that the advice is nonsense is probably a lot more useful than an advice forum that fosters an illusion that advice from a forum might be something other than nonsense.

In the last five years or so Taiwan has really stepped up their game in terms of, well, just about every kind of manufacturing except arms manufacturing.
