Ninja and/or Stealth Units also make good CC choices, especially if you give them enough move to sneak behind the enemy.

Bonn-O-Tron is going to the record store to buy Of Montreal albums. The Assyrians/Czechs have to capture him alive so he can be integrated into the Space Canadians, Blitzen's forces have to take his undamaged brain for research purposes and aoffan23's forces have to help him get to the record store because aoffan23 likes music.

Well, the buildings I have built right now are all medieval-ish, so we could do a scenario involving a time travel device. Maybe everyone got stuck in some time rift, and they're fighting over the device. My death guys want the device so they can warp through history to kill the unworthy, and I guess they could be allied with my other guys for their technology. The Space Canadians want the device so they can travel to the future so they know what to expect when the silent_sigfig's U.S.A. Inevitably tries to annex them. I don't know what the other two forces are yet, so that's all I have.

I still have the minifigures of those 6 other forum members from Quest for the Hill:

Warhead
Zupponn
Silverdream
Colette
Bragallot
Shadowscythe

Maybe we could do something with them?

Keep in mind that if we stay for most of the day, we can get more than one game in. We should probably decide on what time we should show up so we can plan exactly how we're getting there.

edit: i can't get my images to work and im late for bed so only links sorry :(

a couple games would be cool i could kind of get the basics in the first one then actually have a strategy for the other one or two we play.

just finished reading jedi trial (a star wars book where young anakin leads clone troops) so thats where my inspiration came from... then i realized i have no where near enough clone troops and said wtf lets just make it look cool. SOOOOO here is what i came up with for guys:

http://postimage.org/image/bdjgu4zvr/

they are:
2 starwars doods with LOTR swards
2 tie fighters with rocket launchers
1 starwars guy with a flame thrower
1 with a gatling gun
1 with a sniper rifle
2 with knife and shield
1 admiral ackbar hero (i was thinking with a: its a trap power-for better defense against surprise attacks or something of that sort)
1 young anakin with light stick (apparently we don't call them sabers around here?)

1 mandalorian on some sort of speeder with a gun
1 edore dood on a speeder with a long axe
1 hoth guy on a motorcycle
1 car for one to drive and one to shoot from the turret
and 1 wampa with a long as pike

any input is more than welcome!

also thought i would bring this stuff:

http://postimage.org/image/bdjgu4zvr/

2 catapults, one tiny bit of a castle, 3 horses and a huge catapult to be added to the med evil times thingy we have been teleported to.

i will also bring my other guys and weapons in case this isn't a good setup\

I want to be hung by a noose in the middle of the battlefield.

Funny, I was going to suggest lining them up in front of a wall / firing squad.

Have Warhead and Colette fight in a deathmatch in the center of the field like he always wanted.

We can have an actual King of the Hill battle, with each of the forum members leading a force. Zupponn could lead my death guys, Silverdream could lead the Space Canadians, Coletter could lead N1S3R's Star Wars guys, etc.

@N1S3R: Don't worry, we'll definitely help you along the way. This is only my third ever Brikwar, and I don't think Blitzen plays that often, either. Just do some test games at home to familiarize yourself with some rules you're not sure about.

We don't have to use them, but I will bring them just in case.

Imma tell you right now that CC guys are awesome, and if you can get em up to the front lines (SPRINT!!! SPRINT!!!!) they can kick ass. Melee guys don't have to worry about getting lines of sight or height advantages, so it's pretty much always possible to end their turn in complete cover unless they're fighting (or you're fighting on the dreaded empty field: enemy to all minifigs). If ranged guys you lock into combat with try to get away, you get a free attack. They can counter-attack with their rifles, but since they're not proper weapons there's not much else they can do. Some of Natalya's guys have shields to protect em in combat, but they still can't make melee counter-attacks.

I would love to see an all melee combat team totally decimate a bunch of riflemen, or vice-versa. Just remember: there's no A in sword.
