all depends on the epicness of the battle wanted, if were keeping to 4'x8' spreads and where lookin at sharing table space i can check out the local gaming stores. im also slowly setting up a man cave. its primary stuff legos, radio, and space heater. mainly whats taking a long time is building an easily used battlefield, ie interchangeable.

th 20th should work plenty of time to get down state, depending on what free way you take down scenic 101 or quick I-5, if your taking the I-5 unless you absulutly have to go through los angeles go around take the 210 and drop down the 57 into orange county. goes around the huge traffic mess that is los angeles

You forget. LA's traffic might be legendary, but so is Atlanta's. I know what it's like to take one hour to go two miles.

The 20th will work. Just get a venue and we're good. It can be someone's house or a game centre or whatever.

Awesome. Has anyone given thought as to what the scenario could be? It will have to be a land battle because I won't be able to get my ships over there. But I was thinking like my guys were somehow warped over into the Caid Sector and are fighting to get back, or maybe it was an expeditionary scouting force sent off on a long mission or something.

In any case, a ground battle would be awesome. I'd like to ally with either Tuefish or Strana, but not RoC77 because he uses peaches. The dirty bastard.

I liked Jaeman's idea. A radioactive Iceworld on the outskirts of the Caid sector, long rumored to be the only Iceworld outside of the Krysto region. Thus the Assyrians sent an expeditionary force to investigate. The Stranians also raced to claim the untapped fields of orange transparent Leg-Ore, knowing that if the RoCC forces get there first, their days in the Caid sector would be numbered. That way, the Stranians would ally with the Assyrians or the Vol, and the RoCC would either hire the Vol as mercenaries, or ally with the Stranians to rid the sector of the brigands and trespassers.

hmmm that would be interesting ice terrain could be hard to build then again i could just build the terrain than spray paint it white and later wash it all off using brake fluid. another idea would be similar but on a world that had been extinct, ie nature was retaking the planet, and some how while in transit to some border skirmish an assyrian transport was transported through space by a rougue grav wave sending them massivly off course and dumping them on planet, upon sorting out the combat troops out of the wreckage, they learned from thier ally that by using {device} they could get back to thier world but the ~enemy was doing something over the site (investigating it) tyrying to activate etc. and the assyrians most wanted to get back to the empire.. i should be able to build a wrecked ship and necessary terrain though they will be partially buried rubble , im building trees currently, lots of trees and bushes and whatr not but ice world would be awesome and it wouldnt take that much to do, i shall consult my briks tomorow and see what i can do .
