I'd been tired, under
the weather, but the ansaphone kept screaming:

I thumbed a lift to where the car was parked.
A Vauxhall Astra. It was hired.

I picked him up in Leeds.

on the top road out of Harrogate - once
with the head, then six times with the krooklok
in the face - and didn't even swerve.
I dropped it into third

and leant across
to let him out, and saw him in the mirror
bouncing off the kerb, then disappearing down the verge.
We were the same age, give or take a week.
He'd said he liked the breeze

to run its fingers
through his hair. It was twelve noon.
The outlook for the day was moderate to fair.

you can walk from there.

For those who need to be reminded, I believe Redcap's Corner is still planning Philadelphia's Pilot Brikwar on August 20th. This will be the best opportunity to grease the 'official' wheels for next year's game of RAGNABLOK which you are already planning to go to. Get Redcap's game on the calender and bring the heat to PA, we need some more recruits for the war to end all wars.

Also, Stubby, we need to hit up Redcap or Rev. Sylvanus for the specifics so you can plonk an announcement on the front page. I'm sure he's been planning to alert us, but the more time others have to plan is the best.

Also, the big players all need to find a time to get on Chat, so we can bang out some game mechanics to keep it running smoothly.
