Sorry to bring this thread from the dead, but I was too lazy to make a new thread.

Few weeks ago I spoke with my brother, and we agreed that it had been way too long time ago when we last played BrikWars. So few days ago, when our test weeks were over, we started to think about a new game. Today we started it.

We have a small canyon, some 11"x28". In that canyon we have a cottage, some other small buildings and stuff. In the middle of the canyon are my forces. 4 men armed with 2 shotguns, rifle and a grenade launcher and my heroine armed with dual Desert Eagles. Her name is Alice. From both ends of the canyon, the armies of undead march. In total there are 28 human zombies, 4 monster zombies and one überzombie.

Before we had to take a break (on which I am writing this), we had played his first turn and half of mine. My sniper, armed with a normal rifle, took down the first zombie, and the guy with grenade launcher blew away three human zombies and wounded one monsterzombie. He did quite good job, but I believe that in the end my brother and his zombies shall be victorious. That will be seen.

Well I hope so. It's not right if the human side has any chance of winning; a zombie battle should be all about both sides enjoying the humans' inevitable defeat.

huh.

I thought the point of zombie battles was to destroy the opposition... Go Humans!

(means more brains for me...)

But seriously, the zombie stats do seem overcharged. A zombie is a lumbering half-mind, not a super-charged overmind that can take all sorts of damage.

I don't think Zombies don't really have the mental capacity to comprehend "winning a battle". They just want to eat as much flesh as possible

Well, the look of the battle has changed quite a few times. My expectations have ranged from total disaster to a glorious victory. Now they hang around "I cannot survive, but I'll take as many of those damn undeads down as I can". I estimate that when my all guys are dead or zombies, Galagoo will be down to his untouched überzombie, two wounded monster zombies and some 6-8 normal zombies. We'll see about that.

At the moment (3 rounds played), the situation is quite chaotic. I'm down to 4 guys, one of my shotgun toopers has been blown into pieces. Galagoo (my brother), though, has lost awful lot of his army. 15 of his normal zombies are destroyed, so he only has 13 left. Luckily it doesn't take long for him to catch my guys. One of his monster zombies is down and two are wounded. His überzombie is still in full battle condition, though.

The happenings so far after the earlier post:
On the southern battlefront the rest of zombies have moved forward, my guys have been killing some of them. My shotgun trooper got into close combat with a wounded monster zombie, and is now infected. We'll see how that CC turns out. The second monster, also wounded, has almost reached my grenade launcher guy, who was unable to destroy it completely. The normal zombies are just a few inches from the center of the village.

The northern flank has been suffering more. After my other shotgun guy got into CC with Galagoo's wounded monster zombie AND his überzombie on a jeep, I got desperate. After Alice had driven the last monster zombie out of her way, she emptied her Desert Eagles to the jeep, exploding it with a 2d10 damage. The explosion killed three normal zombies, the wounded monster zombie and my infected shotgun trooper. The überzombie survived without a scratch, though.

BTW, if you are interested, I can give you our zombie stats (which might not be the best around, but what we wanted to try).

Teams now
ME:
- Alice
- Sniper
- Grenade launcher guy
- Shotgun trooper (infected and in CC)

GALAGOO:
- Überzombie
- One fully-armed monster zombie and two wounded ones
- 13 normal zombies

EDIT:
Now, after some 5 more rounds, the climax has been reached.

First round after earlier info was total tragic. All 4 of my guys got into CC with zombies, resulting in two deaths; the grenade launcher guy and shotgun trooper. Sniper withdrew, surviving the free hit, but failed to kill the überzombie. Alice, though, earned her rank as Heroine. As she was on the roof with two monster zombies, she used her Feat to blast their heads off. Crushing overkill, I tell you.

Second round: the last monster zombie jumps to help the überzombie with my sniper. They kill him with ease. Alice doesn't like that, so she jumps there and kills the monster zombie but failing to even wound the überzombie.

3rd-5th round: überzombie and Alice have been in CC, but every time Alice has used her Feat to somehow manage to use her guns. She has killed two normal zombies on the way. The überzombie is still in full condition, but Alice is infected. 11 normal zombies left. Propably my dead troopers will wake up at some point, but not just yet. We'll see when.

Teams now
ME:
- Alice (infected)

GALAGOO:
- Überzombie
- 11 human zombies

2nd EDIT:
The battle is now over. Technically Alice had turned into a zombie, so Galagoo won, but we didn't want to end this just yet. So we made an excuse for her immunity against the zombie infection: she's the frigging Heroine !

As for that, the battle raged on. She finally took down the big boss, emptying her Desert Eagles to the überzombie's head. Down he went. That leaved nothing else against her but 11 normal zombies. Piece of cake.

When the grenade launcher guy died, the launcher itself was left on the roof of the small cottage. So Alice jumped there and grabbed the launcer. She blew five zombies up before she realized that it was no fun. Just shooting the zombies from safe distance was not what we were after. Luckily she saw a spade lying on the ground, few inches from the zombie horde. Dropping her launcher she jumped, trying to reach the spade. Unfortunately she slipped and fell to the ground, just waiting for the zombies to eat her. So they did. Quickly the undead surrounded Alice and attacked. No matter how she had withstood the powerful combined attacks of both überzombie and its minions, now she was killed by three human zombies - my typical dice luck. That made her the only human in the whole game to have been killed by human zombies.

So, in the end there were six "survivors", all human zombies. So my estimation was quite far away.

We took some photos and Galagoo is now getting them into the computer. I'll get a link when the photos are in my Brickshelf. And if you want to see our zombie rules, just say so.

Do you ever write more than five words at a time?

What the hell? I could have sworn I deleted that post.

I swear there's something screwy about the post deletion function on this system.

It's one thing if you write one or two posts with no content, but you spammed out like 70 in one spree. It's such a pain to go through all the threads and delete all your posts so that everyone else doesn't have to waste their time, I just about banned you all over again.

Most of all, when you spam out dozens of posts that show that you haven't even bothered to read the threads you're posting in, why should anyone else bother to write a response? It's offensive, disrespectful, and inconsiderate. Read more and post less.

I know this seems to be a random thread revival, but this contradicts the previous quote:

ding ding ding! we have a winner!
Anybody see a BLATANT CONTRADICTION between the two statements? I think a hero would be able to (using melee weapons) be able to use an intricate form to whack off the zombie's head, as seen in this video
