There's a distinct difference between zombie movies and zombies.

IVhorseman hit the nail on the head with that one. MAJOR difference. Real zombies (if their was any *sigh*... a guy can dream) are half minded meatsacks infected by solanum, a re-animation virus. They have no power of thought whatsoever, but excell in their other senses (smell, hearing, and sight) depending on their rate of decomposition. They know living from dead, and cannot be fooled by simple tricks or traps. They can infect through bites, scratches, and human digestion of infected flesh/material. Since their bodies are pretty much dead, they never have to breath, and can feel no pain. Ridding of them permanently can be done through decapitation or brain destruction (decapitation doesn't necessarily mean instant death as the head may still be active and attack you after separation).

Movie zombies can take on some, all of, or none of the facts above. They are simply made to entertain us, and have little to no informative facts on combat with the undead... let alone survival.

That was but an example (and an awesome sync kill). What I'm saying is the Hero, with years of scoring Awesome Kills, could probably use a string of hits to end up with a dead zombie, like using an axe to knock it back and then bash his/her head in.

I understand what you're saying, but I'm talking about the stats being overpowered. I have the guide, and it made it clear with the St. Thomas incident that zombies are very weak on their own if you know what your up against. What IVhorsemen put down for stats it appeared that there is a 3/4 chance of a single zombie taking down a hero in a single hit. It appears to me that he is assuming the heroes don't realize that they are dealing with the undead, as most of the "proffesionals" in the movies and the guide don't.

I really like how you said they are facts. On the book it even says that it is "Humor". Hell, I'm pretty sure Max Brooks even made a statement that he "enjoys making [his] own apocalyptic atmosphere".

EDIT: Don't get me wrong, I would absolutely adore an army of 200 zombies with a Hero Necromancer.
