Okay, I know that it takes a use of two to shove someone back 2 inches, but would that still apply if you were trying to shove them off a cliff?
I mean, it sounds a bit cheap if you ask me . . .

Why would that logically be harder? Wouldn't it be easier?
EDIT: I guess they could use their response to grab the edge, but then it's only a matter of having big boots to squish their fingers with.
EDIT EDIT: Also, not very many battles are played on cliffs.

I think grabbing the edge just before you fall is a Heroic Feat. How many people do you see do that in the movies besides Heroes and Villians?
It would just be a basic shove attempt and if it was against a Hero who had not already used his Heroic Feat he should be able to use it to try to catch himself.

Blitzen said it, rarely a battle takes place on/near a cliff.

I considered using it when I was doing that online battle on the train, and just shoving a stormtrooper off the edge. I figured explosives would work better though.

well that, and there were two guys who would be caught in the blast, and an explosion pushes guys two inches anyways, AND deals 1d10 damage.
So yeah, better.

yes but is it better to have mass killing or one evil killing? which would better fit i think that since it is more then one person the big boom is better but if it just one guy i would push

if you want to be evil then pull a joker. cut the guys mouth into a smile then throw him off with a time bomb in his pants. he falls hits ground then EXPLODES!!!!

While blowing up multiple enemies is pretty darn fun, it also requires a pretty high skill and damage rating.
Shoving, on the other hand, only requires a skill role of 2.
Therefore, it is a bit "cheap" that you can possibly kill somebody just by rolling a single 2.

PROTIP: Stay away from cliff-edges.

It isn't so hard, you just strap explosives to your minifigs, send them into the heart of the enemy army, and blow them up.
