have some imagination!

Captured troops can be tied to vehicles and missiles, or launched out of catapults. They can be used to clear minefields, shield your troops from enemy fire, or "donate" body parts to minifigs on your team who happen to be missing some. That's just off the top of my head, but I'm sure you can find a million uses for disposable living bodies on a battlefield.

If you captured an enemy, would you really just hold him there waiting for him to escape?

It happens on the tv show "24" all the time. Its a very popular show, so the market has spoken!

( I personally find it very annoying how often people get captured then freed )

In event of taking prisoners. While prisoner is out cold attach sub-dermal explosive device with IFF proximity transponder and when conscious again send them back home to their buddies. Sit back and watch hilarity unfold.

even if there was a holocaust most likely some obscure branch of whatever species that is being wiped out will most likely come back AND most likely be more militarized because of this. so more chaos insues shortly.

but all i would do is sacrifficing them to demi-gods(i normally play with a demi-god on the feild) so that they can come and kill and pile bodys high, the player that summons the demi-god takes control of it but his army is control by the other player untill the demi-gods dead.

You could use spies to influence other units.
