don't listen to OneEye!
you've been cheated! Zero means nothing, so you are missing the number 10. The best you can roll is 9. Why is it that people continue to make excuses for shoddy workmanship?

Conspiracy Theory 1:
The zero perhaps represents the set of numbers from -infinity to +.999 (<1). But why anyone would want to roll (-inf to <1) is beyond me. I've never seen it in any charts. There is no KERROLLLESSTHAN1 table.

Yeah man, they sent you the wrong dice. Those a d9's, you want d10s. Ask them for your money back.

Yeah, unfortunately I got a bunch of these on eBay way back. I didn't know these things were still floating around. You got stung, get back onto the guy and ask him what the fuck!?. Your dad would burst his face open.

Unless his dad reads this thread. Then he will be over to your house to have a talk, with his talking hammer.

Why? I don't abuse cults and I don't sell cheap D9's to unsuspecting people on eBay.

*Ding-dong!*

Hey! The doorbell, who could it be at this time of night?..

I have literally never seen a D9 before. Didn't even know they existed.

Yeah, they aren't used for much. Every now and then one pops up for sale. It was a real stroke of luck that you found this many, dilanski. They can fetch quite a pretty penny in the right places.
The only game they were ever used for is the old GW game Man o' War, which used them to determine what the orcs were going to do in their turn.
Fun game, man o' war.

Is THAT what they're for? Man, that game is really expensive now. I was looking to buy some small pieces for Epic and the cost is mental. Look at this on eBay...

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Dark-Elf-Black-Ar ... 45ee77d067

That ship is less than 10cm long and that's without the sails too, all for £30.00!!! I thought you got jipped but Dilanski, you just hit gold! :D

And since each Man-O-War boxed set only came with 2 d9's, you're looking at...
Around thirty bucks each, if you sell them to the right people.

Sweet! I'm gonna have to dig those old dice out the back of the cupboard. Hope I didn't chuck 'em out...

Man, all I ever got was the odd d11. Dilanski, you are one lucky dude!

I think I found one last night. I'll take a photo and I'll post it tonight so you know what to look for and to make sure I'm talking about the right dice. No more 1D8+1 nonsense in my games anymore.
