Sure, but it's a matter of math. I know how many free hours I have in a week, and how many hours it takes to draw even a little picture like that, and on average every small image I do for the rulebook delays production by a week. Four images delays it a month, a couple dozen delay it a year. Right now my spare hours are going to polishing the text instead, so for the artwork I'm look for alternate solutions.

As for releasing it a bit at a time... I'm just greedy for feedback. The changes get more provocative as the book goes on, so I know that once I release the later chapters, 100% of the feedback will be about those and I'll get nothing useful about the early stuff.

The book 2 rules were used to calculate the book 1 stats, just like I did with the stats in BW2001, so unless I messed up the math somewhere they should be 100% compatible.

Chapter 8, maybe next weekend. I'm still working on the new units at the end of the chapter. I can't wait to see how everyone responds to the new fire rules in particular.

I'm not going to ask you to spend hours doing art, I don't think anyone on the forum will, It's just your drawings (even the little pencil doodles) are superior in about every way to all other images I've seen. They were what compelled me to keep reading the rulebook.

Edit: A conclusion would be nice, when I first read the book it seemed weird it just ending with squads.

In the Design Overview section of Making MOCkeries you need to add the word 'is' to this sentence: "If the Creation an asset to one of the players..."

What about rules for automatic weapons? Will those be included?

If there are, they'll be in chapter 8. Check the table of contents.

I think that the rules at 7.2 are a bit to complicated. You probably choose these rules because they make special creations destroyed less easily and makes for good interaction witch mechanik but it does require a player to keep track of both structure size and structure level as well as surface elements size and level.

PS: Chapter 7: Structures is still called special creations in the contents bar at the top of the page and the Mechanik card has a small typo:"Field construction allows a Mechank to"

One minor change The Expert D8 picture caption says,
One of these ninjas is much better at camouflaging himself against this black d8 than the other two.

and there is only two ninjas.

I think the over complicated stuff is Stubbies way of keeping people like Crazyhorse, Oneeye and Dilanski busy while the rest of us have fun, Stubby knows what he's doing.

I don't mind I fudge the rules to my likings all the time, I just thought that Stubhawk would like a rule book that even brik-wussy nitwits could appreciate and use.

I don't think it really matters how complicated any rule or system is. People are still gonna house-rule the shit out of it.
