Let me rephrase that then:

Catapults are far more effective troop transports than APCs in Brikwars; incidentially, an APC will more reliably deliver a large amount of explosives behind enemy lines than a catapult would. So is the way of the brick.

I'm thinking you build a giant catapult, and use it to launch an APC behind enemy lines. And that APC is full of dynamite-strapped kamikaze troops.

Surely that's just a catapult firing explosives.

I've always preferred STOVLs and Helicopters for troop transport, and they can also double as bombers.
AA is an issue so i've got 'AAA batteries' to shoot down AA shots .

You all have it wrong.

Mount a catapult on top of an APC. Catapult fires dynamite kamikaze warriors. APC also has a ram on the front and some rocket boosters so it can blast its way behind enemy lines. Soldiers inside (the ones who are not dynamite kamikaze warriors) have jetpacks, plasma pistols, and chainsaws. APC also has a self-destruct button, just in case. Secondary weapons for the APC include a gatling gun and a flame thrower.

It will be called the Armoured Personell Killapult.

And give it a Giant OTC drill.
