yeah, I like your idea, Piltogg. Everything should be on the battlefield at the start of play. Otherwise everyone is just building and not paying attention to the battle! Not only that, but there will be so many fights as to who gets the last pair of awesome trans orange laser cannons and who gets stuck with the plain old gray ones.

I don't know if you've heard, but there are making brikwars as a mod to Total Annhialation.

Actually 2 groups were but one was just making characters and models without any direction.

This would be my dream game.

We could use Risk boards or Star Wars Risk boards for a large-scale type strategy game. The pieces would represent a certain amount of CP (ex: one soldier=50cp, one horse=250cp, one cannon=500cp). Then when you have a battle you just pick the units you want within that CP limit.

That's actually not a bad idea, although it would take a LONG time. good for a campaign style thing, though.

How about you just rip out a Lego box as fast as you can and chunk up a ship? Forget rules at all.
I think those stats only apply to non-Mexicans.

Referencing back to some earlier ramblings in this topic:

I could make some art for a mechanic/constructor/engineer stat card.

Just a suggestion. However, I'll need you guys to make stats, since I don't know the first thing about stats.

And thus, due to his lack of progress, we should give him the boot on this particular project. Give it to one of the other peeps who populate the realm. Either that, or give an ultimatum. Preferably reading: if it's not finished by the end of the month, we're giving it away! Course, you could always just make your own piece of artwork 'unofficially', and then one of us could 'conveniently' make it into a statcard afterwards. That way, Evil Wayne can still have his official artwork, if he ever finishes it....

Just my two-and-a-half cents.

There's a unit in the 2001 rules called the Technik or Engineer who can create bricks with a can of ABS SprayFoam as well as build them into larger structures. The problem is that he's only able to make one Brik per turn this way, so it's not like he can whip up a wall in a single turn to halt an enemy advance. As I recall his main purpose was to patch holes in structures.
I think the best idea would be some sort of large factory-type building which can construct vehicles. Each team would start with one, and there would be a couple more neutral ones scattered throughout the field.

That's what i'd based my original "creator" unit off of. but the whole "one brik per turn" can get very touchy as to what is meant by the word "brik". so i just said 1d20 studs' worth per turn. briks can only be placed where there is no other minifig or vehicle or something already standing, and within 1d6" of the creator.
