I thought the Battlefield Environments supplement handled this quite well. Just designate an area as a minefield, and roll to see if units set any off based on how big they are and how hastily they move through.
They are coming! I feel them scratching inside my mind, scratching, screaming, running, so many- so, so many voices. They're coming for us - flesh, body and soul!

Wil be up soon, look for Battle for Shotgun Ridge or Operation Screaming Goldfish.

I find it reasonable that Rayhawk has not updated that section of the site in a while, especially since he has not updated many other sections of the webstite for quite a bit of time.
