players can let awesome units live so they can continue being awesome.
if theres no awesome way to survive then they die.
example:
using an elephant as a surf board on lava.

One my Buddy came up with after I had an unusually long string of critical sucesses is: After rolling an ungodly number of sixes, everything and anything in that person's army becomes highly flammable and extremely explosive. As far as house rules, wipe your damn shoes!

I rolled 3 sixes in a row once, then a 4. It's too bad the UR was 23.
Often, literally, a pillow fight but may include similar situations like volleyball, particularly when wardrobe is skimpy and the action is bouncy.

when a minifig survives any damage he may make a 6" D6 damage explosion around him at the start of the next turn, however for this rule to work the minfic cannot be carrying any form of explosive.

that rule is stupid.
if you want kamakazi troops give them bombs.
weapons with massive use rateings are fun.
use rateings on them are anoying.
i have a house rule:
if two minifigures on the same team have controls linked to the same weapons they may combined there skill rolls to be able to use the weapon.
this rule is good for massive death weapons when your down to a sqaud of dimmies.
if you want kamakazi troops give them bombs.

Here's an oddball for you-- Head Whipping. One of my units once used a Heroic Feat to whip someone's head off and throw it at another person. After winning the tossoff, I then rolled for damage with 1d6, and proceeded to roll five sixes in a row! Can you say "freight train", people?
Henceforth, on the rare occasion where the exact criteria are met for a proper Head Whipping, the projectile-head does 5d6 damage!
