Why would you need an entirely new card for a fighter pilot when it could just as easily be a modifier to any minifig or regular pilot?

My idea was that a Fighter Pilot with Ego could use Stupendous Feats for aerobatic maneuvers.

That's what I'm saying though. You could just add "piloting feats" as an ability, tack that onto the standard pilot, and you have a fighter/stunt pilot.

Also, I think the 1D10 skill is useful for the kind of weapons a fighter would most likely carry -- small to midsize guns and rockets.
Also, I think the "small vehicles only" rule needs to go with the "piloting feats" rule. It gives tiny little Attack Bikes or Jet Fighters an advantage against lumbering tanks and bombers.
Finally the Fighter Pilot card allows you to have a regular Hero and a Fighter Pilot in the same army without them getting Cranky -- that should count for something.
