explosive minigun? why would you ever need something like this? i've got my own minigun stats (that have been playtested to be easy and effective) that follows the major tactical advantage of these kinds of weapons: suppresive freaking fire. adding explosives to this is more or less a moot point, but if you NEEDED something of the sort, i'd just bump it up to the same range and whatnot of a regular minigun, but bump it's damage up to 1d20 - (finger cone). d20 because of your massive degree of uncertainty as to exactly how much damage is going to be dealt.
as for explosions that are going on, just assume that they're happening on every point and facet of the firing arc. 1d20 is representative of the damage dealt.
