General Grievous

I logged onto my computer and saw this:

Its coming out May, 1st. It will be $89.99 and contains 1,086 peices. I can definantly see this in Brikwars. A giant General Grievous war machine!? That would be pretty sweet. *Sorry for the big pic

Wait, so you logged on and this picture just popped up? That's certainly peculiar.

Meh, it's ok. Sure it looks awesome, but it has little use in a Brikwar. For example, just at first glance I notice that he is barely poseable at all. His forearms swivel and
his upper forearms may rotate, but it looks like his lower arms would be pretty static. His neck and torso probably do not turn, and although it looks like he can bend
over, (I'm assuming he can't squat down) his legs seem to be pretty solid. I would say that as a Brikwars unit, Grievous gets a 1/10, but as a town statue, I would
give him a 6.

I'll agree it's a rubbish set by itself. But look closelier. Check out all those amazing parts. Curved pieces, hoses, angled technic connectors and dozens of transparent tubes. The possibilities for alternative models are endless, to say nothing of using them with the rest of your collection. I might get one and just part it, without even making the model from instructions.

You have a good point there.
I can think of millions of uses for the transparent pieces that make up his lightsabers, and he does have a lot of gun and vehicle-friendly elements on him.

seeing as general grievous is my favorite star wars character, i'm crapping my pants as i type.

for joint issues, his legs bend perfectly at all joints. however, only in the forward and back directions. arms are all at the same lebels of rotateability. i also have a feeling that the head DOES turn.

but the actual playability of this set is very low. i'd probably just nuke this for the parts.

Look at how the arms are connected to the torso at the shoulders. They don't move I tells ya! Even the elbow joints are one solid technic "elbow" that can't even swivel!

He's right. This is a sculpture, not a playable model.

Unacceptable. :x

I love how you can see his internal organs through his armor plate.

Did any one here think that that model was to play with? I mean you don't have to be smart to see it is meant to be just that a model.
