DC-17m Stats

Post by Darshino » Mon Sep 13, 2010 7:06 pm

Does anyone have stat ideas for a DC-17m blaster that I could use? I'm a Star Wars nerd, so I know what it is, and I'm building a Mand'ad hero.

It's basically an interchangeable weapons system, with three different modes and you could change it to, by attaching a unattaching different parts.

First, it had a rapid-fire ion-pulse blaster that could disable inefficiently armored droids and robots, including cybernetics systems, and quickly and efficiently kill organics as well. It used a clip system, and had 60 shots per magazine. It never jammed in dust, heat, cold, or any other abuse I could think of.

The second mode, or set of attachments I should say, was a sniper rifle kind of thing, a beauty to all maniacal death enthusiasts and 'leet commandos alike. It used an ion-pulse type of thing, too. It was, again, highly effective against both droids and organics. It did more damage than the blaster mode with slower rate of fire and longer range, with a scope as well. It had an ammo-clip system as well, with 5 shots per magazine. Its shots were encased in plasma energy, to increase speed and penetration, and it had a sort of x-ray vision effect as to locate vital spots in the enemy.

The third set of attachments was an anti-armor setting. It fired off anti-armor charges that could pretty much take out any organic or droid, provided it wasn't too armored. Does good against armored subjects, just not extremely heavy armor. It boasted the ability to cause high amounts of damage and large fragmentation. The missiles were dumb-fired at the enemy, requiring more skill to hit them.

The wookieepedia (love that place) page is here if you want pictures:

It was, needless to say, the best video game weapon I have ever seen.

Flaming is not appreciated, at all, by anyone, if you're gonna do it, don't do it to me. It's only gonna make people angry. So, if you could make stats or submit some for any of the attachments, it would be great.[/url]

You are either the dumbest noob ever or the best troll.

I doubt it's the second one.

Just treat it as three weapons, a sniper, ion blaster and a rocket launcher.
sniper- cp:6 use:4 dmg:2d6 range:9"
blaster- cp:4 use:3 dmg:1d6+1 range:6"
rocket launcher: cp:2 use:2 range:6" dmg:1d10

I have a few things to say.

6. You should make the rules yourself if you were a real Brikwarrior you could.
7. I only made the rules because and interchangeable weapons system is an awesome idea.
8. I like star wars a little more then your average Joe but you are obsessed.
9.Don't join the brikwars forms and not expect to get flamed.
10. Nerd

Lol man, I just put that there to see if people would take the time to respond in a manner such as yourself.

Also, yeah, Star Wars is for nerds if you didn't know, so stay out of mah territory.

I'm not ashamed. I'm a nerd, I accept it. You, however, are seemingly obsessed with attempting to dig up my nonexistant insecurities so that I will start some flame war with all of you.

Shit, this lot don't need any of that. They're already succeeding when you attempt to deny the existence of the supposed insecurities. It's best just to outshine them with a show of awesome. Got any?
