You could probably afford to give Indy more abilities if you gave him a Heroic Ego-related Disadvantage: He refuses to go anywhere without his hat. So if he gets hit or has to dodge a trap, he makes a separate skill roll to see if he manages to hang onto his hat. If he fails, his hat goes flying 1d6 inches in a random direction, and his next turn must be spent retrieving his hat and putting it back on, no matter what.
If Indy happens to die, you could also have a rule where if someone takes the hat off his corpse, that minifig gets all of Indy's abilities... as well as the disadvantage.
