I think we will land on mars within the lifetimes of everyone on this thread- Our current technology could get us to Mars within two years of it being approved. It's just a question of restoring faith in NASA and forking over $20B

Oh good. I can think of a few people I'd love to see getting shipped off to Mars.

We may have to increase the budget though.
