Oh fuck I forgot about that. Well, there you go, but still that kinda sucks.

Yeah. The Bechdel test is kinda useless at saying anything about an individual movie.
Remus: Harry... I'm a werewolf.
Harry: Are you fucking serious?
Remus: Well yes, but I don't see how that applies here.

But most movies don't even make it that far.

A fun little thing I noticed in the credits:
Spoiler: show
The credits open with a theater vignette, right? At the end, the vignette can be seen on the upper left amongst the rest, with credits of its own rolling on it.
Brickwars: the only tabletop wargame that allows the units to have sexual intercourse with each other, produce offspring, and then use said offspring as Size 1 Explosives.

Mike, I must know - are there any other rules of the sea we don't know about?

I feel these should be added to the Brikwars rules. For reasons.

According to TV tropes, the other rules include:
"Never put ye hand in a clam's mouth"
"Always abandon a lost cause"
"Never release a Kraken"
"Never wear a dress on Tuesday"

Yarr, the exception be Kraken rum. A true pirate would unleash that beast.

Seriously? This makes me want to go see it again just to catch these sort of little "Astarte eggs".
One could always wait for the DVD release, though.

In UK cinemas the adverts that they play before the movie starts were remade with Lego.

Here's some they showed on national TV

If only every advert was in lego. Commercial breaks would actually be worth watching for once

Took my daughter to see it so this was my second time... it was still totally awesome. This time I was able to look around more for fun things happening in the background and more obscure references.

While the movie was on Mini-Warhead spotted someone with their phone on and texting in the cinema. So he shouted out. "Hey! There's someone wanting to get shot!"

In reference to this... http://www.csmonitor.com/USA/USA-Update ... exting-too

We both want to see this movie again, but we're barred.

Go to a different theatre or the same one on a different shift.

...yeah, there might have been an unpreventable chain of events that occurred in that one at some other point in time that I was entirely blameless of. But that guy had it coming.

Okay, I jus saw it, and now I am squeeking like a ten year old girl, by how fucking awsome it was. I heared, that LEGO denied any connection with Brikwars, but I just can't see this movie an anything else than pure brikwars. The utter and complete joy the uncontrolled chaos of the fillm represents could make me think of nothing else. Heck they even have the blockbots as an invading zombie army in the end. Ithink that kid voice should be made offici a for them And my god that.scene with the DSM lwrecking house literally made me want to jump.around in happiness. All it needed was a minigun that shootrobot kittens with lazor eyes. We need more of this. I demand a sequel.
I couldn't come up with anything smart, original or funny, so <=THIS=> is what you get.
ENJOY IT!!!

They are making a sequel, but prepare for the worst so that if it turns out to be good it feels better.
