Yeah. It's a catch-23 situation. I hope this crack diplomacy plan Kerry came up with is going to work. That'd be the best outcome.

Does this plan involve diplomacy via crack-cocaine?

If not, I am very disappoint.

How much would you like your incoming ban? In Russia Natalya would be against the law.

Because even though he's an ex-KGB martial artist, he's also someone who has violent policies against homeschoolers.

Also remember that Soviet Russia invented applying propaganda techniques to create fictional backstories for their leaders as superheroic strongmen. The reason there are so many great stories about how awesome Putin is, is because there's a government department whose job it is to create and spread those stories.

Oh I see. Well in any event, I still say he's at least a better man than Obama ever would be.

I think we just shouldn't get involved with Syria.
Let Assad keep killing his own people, surely he's smart enough to realize that we can easily get rid of him however we want once there are no civilians.

Putin has been good for Russia on an international stage, but back home he's not so well liked.

Could be worse, could be Lukashenko in charge.
If that Eurasian Union thing ever goes through, Lukashenko won't be in control of shit, and Putin will have his USSR Back, Minus the Communist part, and Minus the entire country of Ukraine which was kind of a big thing for them.

Yes, because Obama has orchestrated shootings to get rid of guns (makes perfect sense!) and is secretly the leader of Hamas and Al-Qaeda. And in a week you'll have forgotten what stubby said and think Putin is awesome again.

Oh well, I think you should use your ability of thinking Putin is awesome (received by not being born as a sophisticated individual in Russia). People will believe what they want to believe anyway, clearly. And often it's easier to believe in propaganda than try to see the truth.

Russia's only warm water naval base is in Syria. Is it a coincidence that they support Assad's regime staying in power?

That really wouldn't surprise me. Even if he hasn't, he still seems to enjoy exploiting children for political gain, another favorite tactic of repressive dictators.

In regards to what stubby said, yeah that could be true, but from what I can tell Russia isn't the Soviet Union anymore, and hasn't been for nearly twenty years. From what I've seen, Russia seems to be turning into a new world power that actually emphasizes and defends western ideas. For example, Russia has (or is soon to have) a 14% flat tax rate, something America will probably need after the next three years pass. Granted, I don't live there, so yeah, maybe you are right and its all just a smoke screen. But still, it sounds better than the toilet that America is being flushed down...

Holy fucking shit guys, Obama REALLY isn't that bad. At least he actually went to congress to get permission to go into Syria, instead of using his powers as commander in chief to just rush the fuck into the middle east like George Bush.

Ben-Jammin, what the hell? I know a lot of people like you, and all they do is bitch and moan all day about the "good old times" before the world was so complex and then they moan about how horrible life is, and blame it on Obama. I know someone who's dad is a real estate agent, and he didn't sell a house in a few months while my dad sold about 3, and he blamed his family moving into a much smaller house because of his dad's incompetence as a salesman on Obama. Seriously, I say a lot of dumb shit on these forums, but this is just fucking retarded. (As in what you said, not what I said)
