Wait a second, there's a problem here. It's the same one they had in the "Viking VS. Samurai" episode of ultimate warrior on spike. The problem is this: you're pitting a spec ops unit (Master Chief) against a foot soldier (Space Marine) and in this case the foot soldier is winning! honestly I think that comparing Master Chief to a Space Marine is like comparing a Ninja to an infantryman.

I don't see Spartans as spec ops, I see them as infantry leaders. They're the officers that lead the rest into battle, for morale and crap. If this is the case, Spartans are even worse off, as they would lose to a lowly foot soldier.

Back to subject, while I think that staying with the given two would be the best here to avoid everyone throwing in a type/class of soldier. But seriously, while Spartans are awesome, The Space Marines are mean f**kers. A Spartan can be killed by a Covenant tank with relative ease. A Space Marine could RAM half of the enemy armor and leave a significant dent!

So, living super soldier juggernaught marine who made a new weakness in the armor, or dead but awesome inspirational cyber supr soldier?

Just commenting on whoever said space marines were foot soldiers...that would be the imperial guard you are thinking of. Space marines come as a single squad, kill everything, and let the imperial guard pick up the pieces.
