Are there a lot of dialects or sub-languages within Portuguese like there are in English and German, Pres?

Certanly not as many, but it has a crapload of them, too. Brazillian, Angolan, Mozambican, Guinean, Timorean, Azorean and even on the continental part. Also Galician looks more like Portuguesa than Castilian.
