Three-way war, 40k, Halo, and Boba Fett; prep thread

Yup. There'll be three units, the Marine, Master Chief, and Boba Fett. The Marine's advantage is sheer power, Chief's got some of everything, and Fett's got the biggest arsenal (plus, he can fly). They should wind up about even.

I just now saw that the spartans armor is the lowest! why? have you read
halo:uprising where spartan 117 is shot by 6 hunters and is ok? i think maybe it should be a little better

If you mention Halo uprising, I will be very mad. That flies in the face of all the established canon where it takes two at the most to kill him.

Okay, so notice that the Spartan's armor is still really good. However, we've pretty much established that Space Marine armor is slightly stronger (this is including the shield), and, as neither Spartan nor Space Marine armor is immune to stuff like Plasma Swords/Lightsabers, and Beskar is, Fett's armor is stronger than both.

One thing: Space Marines don't have hellguns. Those are only used by Imperial Guard Storm Troopers.

In the Codex, Marines are equipped with a bolter and bolt pistol, which is just a mini-bolter. Don't say "But that wouldn't be fair, cause that's just a crapload of mini-missiles, and that's overpowered", cause that would just close the debate.

So replace the hellgun with a bolt pistol.

Also, I came up with a couple ideas for the power sword.

well i would have to say no to baskar being stronger...its just iorn with very special abilities, space marine armor is very tough material that can deflect
many attacks but lacks any way to reform if broken away. spartan armor is hardend titanium with that CRAZY cystall layer that held back a grinding energy sword for a while plus the shield...and why can't i bring up halo uprising? its a bungie book, and ya the mk VI armor can take that much abuse... don't say well in the game....because there is a 40k space marine game where a tau fire worrier takes on like 10-15 chaos space marines at one time... the games are chaged so they are fun, not true...at least most of the time

Dude, everyone knows Boba Fett wins anything without a fight. Unless its with Snake Eyes, then it's a fair fight.


Speaking of which I went into a comic store( Silver Snail if anyone knows it) and they had all a wall of star wars figures and a bunch of G.I. Joes but no snake eyes or boba. I was so mad.

Spartan, you just admitted that a plasma sword managed to grind through the Spartan's armor, right (*notes similarity between username and Halo classic**wonders if there could be a bias there*)? Well, a lightsaber has at least the cutting potency of a plasma sword, probably more, as a matter of fact, and lightsabers just glance off of beskar without leaving a dent. Blaster bolts and most projectiles are incapable of piercing beskar. The only things that really penetrate beskar-plate armor are high-caliber gunship-type rounds, tricked out Force techniques (shatterpoint), and concentrated, high-volume, sustained plasma bursts, the only example of this being from a mounted plasma cannon.
Please consider the fact that you are the only one disagreeing about armor qualifications, and that thus, it is possible that you are wrong here :\

And a wall of Star Wars figures without Boba Fett is just retarded. Seriously.

hmm you are right about that but beskar has no shield (if its hit it is damaged) and yes im the only one that disagrees because it seems you and me are the most knowleged in halo/star wars/40k

and you also have to take into cons. that if beskar is hit ya it will probly deflect it but the guy inside will take all the force of impact



and i try not to be bias, but some times sence so many people hate on halo im the only one who (besides you maybe) trys to defend it

oh and all i was trying to say about the sword thing is that it would not just cut him in half

so i guess what im trying to say is spartan armor minus the shield is the same strength as beskar....but thats just it it also has shield

so a spartan has shielded beskar...sort of....the gell layer does absorb massive impacts (spartans can survive orbital re-entry in the mk VI armor)

oh and im loving talking to you...so far as soon as i say: "a spartan can or can't do this" people say Butz IN tha GAmes thay dieeeee lolzz

and! the armor has biofoam...so he should be able to heal.

basically, mandalorian steel can deflect lightsabers. It's problem is that unlike a spacemarine, or master chief, it doesn't cover the whole body. Both of those guys can fight snipers all day, and both of those guys will have no problem blasting away at the gaps between Boba's armor. He probably has the best armor, but it has holes.

And wouldn't the game make it so master chief could take tons of hunter rounds so it was more fun? Yes it would. But it doesn't, and the fact that the book tries to make him a god is stupid. Therefore, I detest that book.

and spartan shields where taken from jackal shields and then made better so take a jackal shield make it stronger and cover your whole body with it and then you have spartan shield

...that is one of the biggest problems with the halo series. The shields are never really explained. In the first books master chiefs shields were just a tiny bit better than the elites, but then suddenly they are capable of blocking six fuel rod guns? That doesn't make sense.
