You know what I enjoy? While the spartans were Manly Fukin Bastards, the outcome of that battle was they were all martyred, sparta, and then athens was burned to the ground. So, even though they were manly, calling the halotards spartans is saying "you're manly and you're cool, but you're all gonna die for fukin NOTHING. NOTHING AT ALL."

well halo spartans are close to the same, they are fighting a losing battle, but then they get the covies by the balls with the finding of halo
