So guys.
I have an... opportunity. I'll be in Germany next week, without an internet connection, and if I want to, I'll be able to make it to the German Legoland. I was just looking at their website, however, and it seems to me that it's aimed more towards kids, not teenagers. The only thing there that I would be interested in seems to be the scaled lego buildings of Munich and the like. Should I go? Is it worth it?

Well, I've been to Legoland Windsor, and quite frankly the only things worth it for you are:
a) the shop
b) miniland
c) the spinny teacups ride.

Legoland Windsor had some other cool stuff too though. I kind of liked how they did the dragon roller coaster, and didn't they have a drop-tower now?
Last time I went was ten years ago :\
I say it's worth checking out, they usually have a ton of cool constructions scattered around.

I have not been there but i am quite sure that it is definatley geared towards kids.
However, german lego nerds regularly talk about the inventory of the factory outlet there. They are all train builders though so for a Brikwars guy it might be a completely different experience. You might be able to buy some good stuff.

Exactly. How old are you now. Then my point will be proven, that there is not much for a 16+ year old to enjoy.

We were planning on taking Mini-Warhead to Windsor this year but it sounds craptastic. I'll make it up to him, I'll buy him a hooker when he's older or something.

the collectible minnifigs are out in Europe already, and there is a tool to find out which ones are in which box (was reported on TBB) So be sure to pick up some of those if you get the chance too. Iv'e only been to the legoland in California, kiddie, but it was totally worth it. The rides are not at all entertaining for us older folk, but you get to see all the lego sculptures and it can be a good inspiration for building.
on a side note: everything in Germany is worth seeing. just keep that in mind.

I went to Legoland Billund once, and the Minilands made it worth it on their own.
