I heard the military took him in and he was never heard from again.

So yeah he was probably killed, just not necessarily right after the pic was taken.

Either way, he's a fucking hero.

This image is in fact a video, (can't find it now) he's actually stops the tank driving around him, and is then dragged off by his freinds.
Just so you know, for those of you who don't, this video was captured in China during a protest by Chineese students (the tienneman square massacre) during the early 1990's noone knows if he's still alive, noone can find him, and he's not revealing himself (for good reason)

Yeah, I know about Tienanmen Square, one of the most famous (or infamous) massacres in history. Also case in point, this guy deserves a damn statue made after him, hardly anyone would ever have the balls to do that.

I actually went to Tienanmen square last year. You know they won't let you display a school banner for photos there? They're completely paranoid about any sort of demonstration.
That said, any tank containing Warhead deserves a custom paint job.
I'm kinda jealous, the closest I ever got was when the BSA troop in Korea got to play around in the Bradley simulators on a military base (I broke my acceleration pedal).
