PEACHES! and their uses.

Postby RunsWithLegos » Tue Apr 27, 2010 10:08 pm

it seems to me that peaches have a lot 'cooler' faces and weapons at their disposal.
why is lego doing this?
what can we do about this?

ALSO!
does the brikwars universe have courts? and if they are not just dueling fields under a different name would the beast peach always be worse then the worst yellow? and be prosecuted as such?

Peaches & pieces look like movie. They movie themes. What can do? Can use pieces on yellows, use peaches for other junk. *Caveman grunt*

Like aoffan23 has said, 'peaches' are for movie and other licensed themes. Lego seems to think that they better reflect 'real' people in brick form. As such, with all the work that goes into licensed themes, they are tending to end up with alot of the cool stuff. Especially since all the licensed themes have far more conflict than the average Lego themes. Thus, they get more 'weapons' for such conflict. However, I didn't think you should count the Yellows out just yet. They are getting their fair share of awesome, just in less conventional forms. Or more conventional, depending on how you look at it. Eh, *shrug*

As to the degree of Peach oriented prejudice, just check out the wiki and judge for yourself. There's plenty of posts on the subject.

The Peach shall rise and rule all! If you noticed the Prince of Perisa sets have darker toned heads & hands. They also have black heads from the old basketball sets. I like them, it gives my army a more diversified look.

I use the green heads and hands from the army men set as "colored" minifigs.
they basically combine 3 types:
like afro-americans they have a completely different skintone.
like asians they all look the same.
like hispanics I make them speak a different language.

the above post is entirely based on bullshit.

if 20 chickens can fit in a brick, how many pingpongballs does a crocodile have to eat so it can swim faster than a washing machine?

The arbitrary rule that licensed properties have cooler minifigs than non licensed, presumably. I dunno.
