Brick Magic the aftermath (now with photos)

Postby eviljack » Mon May 10, 2010 6:25 pm

Hey guys. Just got back from brick magic in NC. Was a great time. I will post photos and stuff later, but for now I am exhausted and will just post the highlights.

A few cool things, I got to talk to Mark Stafford a lego designer responsiable for most of the Space Police line. I learned alot of things, including the fact that he designed the new space police helmets, and that they are a cross between Halo and Battletech.

Also our club layout got a some nice footage on the 10 o'clock news in NC, including the windfarm, pyramid, and monster trucks, plus another members train.

I also came away with some awsome deals. I aquired a three starwar sets for $404. The Republic Gunship, motorized AT-AT, and the USC Mellinum Falcon.

I also got the new space man from the new mini-fig series. I have already modified him for Brik Wars. I will post photos later.

They are the commando helmets, the ones in the newer sets and on the bad space man in the collector mini-figs

Ok here are photos from the event. I didn't take any myself, and am too lazy to actually post them up. Plus there are like 700+ photos. So click on the link for flickr and check them out. There is a lot of cool stuff, including out layout as well.
