More for animals randomly exploding, I always have sharks and alligators in my battles, they just follow a set of random rules, but It'd be nice if there was a balanced ways to turn them into time bombs

Just do what you've been doing then at the end of the turn roll a D6, on the roll of a 1 it explodes. roll another D6 and that's the radius in inches of the blast and how many D6 of damage the explosion does.

I saw this documentary, the whale was being transported to a marine research lab in a university or something like that when some sort of bubble or air sac in its tail started rotting its interiors, thus creating big amounts of gases that were compressed there for to long, until it could hold no longer and freakin exploded!

Yeah. A similar went here on nationaél geographic yesterday. Those fellas were smart enough to cut holes on the whale so it would deflate... then they were knee-deep in whale guts once opened.

Heck, it was almost as fun as when they opened up a dead giraffe.
