Kayaks

Postby Scottsamn » Sun Sep 05, 2010 1:05 pm

Kayaks are by far the best invention by man kind. I'm curious if there's anyone else here who likes kayaks. I have also discovered that it's a real bitch getting out of one of those things when your underwater and upside down. On the up side, my parants got me some stuff to reward my unshakeable calm while holding on to a spinning kayak, then on spider infested railings. where am I going with this? I don't have a clue.

I've been twice, once with my cousin's kayak up at the family cottage, and once they showed us how to kayak at summer camp.

Getting out when it's upside down isn't really that hard from what i can remember. The time at summer camp was like 5 years ago, though.

Kayaks. Are Frikking Awesome.

I really don't like to swim, but there's something about kayaks that I really like. Spent a hour or two every day of Boy Scout summer camp on the water. It's quite fun.

I have Kayaked once or twice, but I hardly use them because most Kayaks are made for one person and I usually go with a group in a canoe, although I prefer Kayaks

Same here. Except most of the two hours was spent trying to get myself out of the middle of the lake. I prefer swimming though.
