I remember waaaaay back when the forums started, some guy offered to make a group of forum armies that we'd have some kind of newfangled forum-type brikwar with

anyways it pretty much immediately resulted in us demanding for an Army of Metal, with heavy amplifier weapons, electric guitar-lasers, and spiked studs ripping apart all those who aren't BRÜTAL enough. The guy got all pissed off for some dumb reason (he thought metal was dumb) and left though.

I started that, so does that count as a kill? If so, I'm at 5 so far.

what?! I totally thought I started it! I remember you made a metal chariot of some sort...

Honestly it was more of a group effort more than anything. IDK if any one of us can really be responsible for what became of The Metal.

Well, I was the one who was like "dude, lets make a death metal band (like slipknot), with it's legions of devoted fans on riot." Then you were like "ya, they should have roadies and groupies and a really huge van to drive around and kick ass in. But it shouldn't be like slipknot, cus thats just weird." Or at least thats what people said in the next three posts, not necessarily you.

Also, I like this idea, It has probably been done before, but it would be a good example for the young ones who just hear shit around here... You can count me in!

Roadies = builders. But they can only build stage sets.
Tour van = APC
Pyrotechnics = explosives, the pyro setup people can the be the heavies.

Goddammit this happens every time someone comes up with an idea like this.

Sounds cool. Regarding the fans as redshirts, I think security would be more fitting, the fans could just go crazy and break shit.

And I'm trying to think of a role for the opening band.

Overall power buffers? In reality opening bands spice things up a bit and make time before the main band appears...

This is giving me some awesome ideas

Amps could be also power buffers or some sort of sonic cannons
The groupies could sacrifice themselves to summon greater rock gods
The band could consume drugs, alcohol and groupies to go berserk
Roadies could build and repair various shit the band uses, iunno

But one thing I tell ya, this promises

Swag shop = armoury
Concert food vendors = medics
Beer tent = place where people can get hopped up on booze and go crazy... but for $15 apiece.

You're using the term "rock gods" a bit too loosely. Those bands are good, but no way are they godly.

Here is a better list:
Queen
Styx
Boston
Rush
The Who
The Beatles
The Rolling Stones
Elvis
Led Zeppelin
Johny Cash (should we count him as rock? Or is he too country?)
I think Dave Grohl needs to be in here, but not necessarily any of his bands. Except Nirvana.
Also, Jack White is a must.

I know I missed some, but this is just an example of godly rockers.
