Why not? We did when we made blood sausage.

I don't recall blood being classified as food in any of the regular field manuals.

I do remember my drill sergeant stating very emphatically and inciting the rest of us to chant that it does "make the green grass grow." Perhaps that meant that it was plant food?

Or perhaps this is some special forces treat? They love to eat wierd stuffs.

Black Pudding is Blood deep fried, we even get it from the fish and chip shop. No big deal. I guess special forces guys like a chippy.

Beer is drink, not food... athough Newcastle Brown Ale and Guinnes are sort of liquid food in a way.

Anything can be fried. It just might not be good.
An army marches on its stomach, and its favorite food is fudge.

Hidromel is the closest beer to food due its thickness. But still, its not food, its a drink.

My people use blood in stews, and that's pretty tame comapared to what else we eat.

Yeah, for hare soup we use the hares head, eyes, brains and all. Tastes great too. Yay for cold countries and their willingness to eat anything warm... :warhead:

Addendum: If you can't fry, grill, or belch it, it's not man food.

I saw a recipe for a Guiness based beef stew that I'd really love to try out sometime.
