Best Song.....

Postby White Nun » Sun Jul 10, 2011 8:19 pm

Well best song anyway from when I was in my 20 somethings .....

'Suzanne' by Leonard Cohen. The lyrics are profoundly poetic and beautiful.

I love Leonard Cohen. Not because he has good music, but because he's a racist homophobic Canadian.

So you guys are trying to top her song with your songs?

She said the best song from when she was 20. The song she then gave was released in 1967. Now I could be wrong, but I believe neither song you guys have put forth existed when she was 20.

Now White Nun, I have two songs also released in 1967 I think are as good (not better, just as good  )

You are a wise man Hobo. Good choices for both songs, but I think I like White Rabbit best of the two.
And yes I was really talking about music from back in the 60s and 70s which is what I know best.

@Robot M: U.Tube won't let that clip be played in my country for some reason.

Not especially keen on Metallica so I'm not really bothered about missing out.
