The weather.......

It's gone past mid-Winter here and my orange tree is still producing oranges, my white roses are still blooming too. I've got a load of firewood under the house that I've hardly touched because the temperatures are so mild.
The mid-Winter festival further down country was almost cancelled because they didn't have any snow and so far there's been THREE tornadoes down country too; - and we just don't plain get tornadoes here in NZ (or only so rarely that we can say we don't get them).

Very heavy rain and flooding is on the increase too. We had the kind of rain last night where you could just about drown while standing up it was coming down so hard.

World weather patterns are definitely changing and I think it's going to get a lot worse before it gets better. The funny thing is I can remember predictions about this happening years back when I was still an earthmother hippie with 10 acres and two kiddies and all the politicians and captains of industry just laughed at the whole thing. Not quite so keen on laughing now methinks

Here in northwesten US (eastern Washington State), the weather has been very strange. Winter lasted way too long and summer is only just now sort of arriving even though it's already a third of the way through July... it should be hot, but it's still a bit chilly. Also more rainfall this year than normal.

Its really really true. All the predictions that were made are gradually becoming true. The weather and climate everything has started to change now. Everything that has been even shown in the movie 2012 are day by day coming right infront of us. and well this weather problem, yes its totally true that winters are becoming hell much colder and summers are becoming more than just hot :/
