A Question On A Possible Story For My Army.

Saviordude sat at his worktable, looking over his collection of mini-figs. There were many, all from different worlds and eras.
He wanted to pull them into one army, but how? How could he explain the assortments of random characters being in one group?
And how could me make them seem unified?
Taking a sip of his Dr.Pepper, he thought. And then it dawned on him. One of the oldest tricks in the books, used by writers for hundreds of years to explain the impossible.

Time-travel.


Alright, so I noticed that a lot of you have a story behind your armies. And I want one too. You know, to be cool and such. But my mini figs are so unconnected, I don't see how I could do it without time-travel. I mean, I have knights, over here, vikings over there, and spacemen in the middle. So I'm wondering, would it be alright if I explained my army using time travel?

Like, let's say we have this guy. And he want's to build an army to take over the universe, go on a religious crusade, or just cause chaos. So he builds a time-machine to pull the best warriors from their respective periods in time. I understand it doesn't have to be logical, since it's brikwars, but is it a stupid idea? Because if it is, I'll go and find another way to unify them.

So, what are your thoughts on this?

I see this as logikal. If I had a time machine I would definitely bring back an army of vikings.

I suggest mixing the weapons and armor of your spacemen and knights to make some kind of wicked-awesome space-kights. They rescue princesses from space stations in far off alien lands. Maybe slay a space-dragon. Got some pirates? space pirates! The great part about space-dudes is that you only need one prop from your several-era'd minifigs, and then explain it away as either alien culture or some kind of crazy cosmic crusader stuff.

A time travel is fine too though.

Wait, this is a problem? okay, well then if you don't want to put them in actual space, just make a futuristic post-apocalyptia akin to He-man or something. Ancient magical forces brought... i dunno, black holes... and they made ancient runed weapons commonplace yet all the laser guns of the future were just lying around as well. Complete with chainsaw barbarians!

I never said it was a problem. It's a possible solution, like the ones you just given.

Alternately, what about a space army, with the fantasy guys being a LOTR style army of the dead? Or an army of fantasy guys, with a space man leading them thanks to an Army Of Darkness style time travel? Or just a force of random people, looking to get in on the
