Okay, this thread went from politics/education, to two people giving the same arguments over religion for a couple of pages, and now to wierd things people eat. I actually forgot what it was originally about for a minute.
Anyway, what's wrong with religion? The basic teaching of most of them (at least Chritianity as I understand it)(if people would follow them, which a lot of times they don't) are to help other people and to tolerate them. I find it annoying when atheists whine about anything to do with religion. I have to put up with your beliefs, so you have to put up with mine. And anyway, if I'm wrong and there is no God and no afterlife, what do I lose by believing in it while I'm alive? When I die just blackness. No thought, no holy crap, I was wrong,
Anyway, once I went to the Ripley's museum in Myrtle Beach SC and there was a cannibal fork with a (fake) human thumb on it in one of the displays. It kinda freaked me out (I was young at the time).
