Is Derpy Hooves in herself offensive? Or is it the parents that take offense in fact the ones who are offensive, because they do not wish to accept her existence?

I think that they could have used a different voice for Derpy. I doubt there's any way to have down-syndrome penises without offending anyone.

They actually did give her a different voice for the I-tunes version, which I think is FAR superior to the one she originally had...

...Problem is, they cut out Rainbow Dash calling her "Derpy"...
Probably for the best all things considered, since too many would latch on to the negative connotations of "derp" in the first place.
