Indeed, i still have the urge to build a SHIP of my own. Maybe i will rebuild the Rainbow Demon for laughs.

it's interesting how this all started. Natalya built a ship. then a few people decided to build ships. then they got bored and decided to fight a battle in the Ciad sector. then we had the biggest arms race of any forum ever!

natalya had that ship for a while, it was microscale that started the idea of space, then it was moved up a notch when strana started on ships, starting an arms race which is only now starting to slow.

because now were all broke. and 2/3 of our ships were too blocky. and no one fought a secound battle. FOR GODS SAKE WE NEED ANOTHER FLEET ENGAGEMENT! and a place on the main thing for spaceship pictures. we'll get soo many people on the site!

Excuse me gentlemen. If I may. A short while ago I was approached by The Elmagnifico with regards to this very idea and as a direct result we have, briefly discussed a possible and as yet theoretical space and ground battle depicting the historical fight of the Immortal foothold incursion into Brikspace and the subsequent fall of the planet FICO. I believe the Gamma Corps were present that day. The battle had first been written during the King of The Hill thread... somewhen.

I must warn you however that Zombie (Zulu) Dawn took almost a year of research and sussing out the forum people before implementation. I would expect this to take just as long to organise and plan out but I haven't lost sight of this idea.

IIRC we were thinking of a Forum Space Battle in Micro Scale and a Planetary Assault Forum Battle in normal scale. Does this sound interesting at all?

And please DO NOT state here and now that you want a spot or I will be tempted to cut off your ears and wear them as a necklace. O-KAY?

The Scythian Savager class frigate - while it may not exist - it weighs in at 110 studs long, I'm not sure as to how that classes as a SHIP though.
