Nope, they're new. This image has been around for a couple of months.

I'm reaaallly disappointed about the new piece, don't know why they'd bother to make a new mould that's infinitely less usable than the original one. I also really hoping that cow skull fits on a minifig head.

Cool tomahawk. Cool Lone Ranger torsos.

They remind me of the old Wild West line.

Yeah, and the Pirates of the Caribbean line reminded me of the Pirates lines, Star Wars reminded me of the old space lines, and the Cars line reminded me of the Racers line.

Yeah, especially when they are still using those shitty old Shotgun pieces...

...WHY DO THEY KEEP THE GUNS THAT CAN'T EVEN BE HELD RIGHT?!?!

I'll just say that they're different calibers or something. I usually do that when we get one of the same pieces in a different color. Problem is now that there are so many molds and in differing colors that I'm running out of ideas!

They really ought to just bring back all those lines, I'd infinitely prefer a new but old-school style ship as something that can be used as whatever you want it too, rather than something that demands that you must play with it as a pirate ship from a specific film that must be played as such. Don't get me wrong, I like movies, and I've nothing against lego and creators of said movies cashing in by selling themed sets, but such things tend to curb the possibilities of what can be achieved by such models when you're trying to do anything but replicate a film, such as having a brikwar, for example.

ALSO: Sets based on films have peachie figures, which is a pain in the back, only made worse by the fact that they've decided to print fleshy pink on the torsos as well, which scuppers much hope of using them for a yellow army :| .

Oh look! I just went on a massive tangent

When I saw previews for the The Lone Ranger at the theater, the notion of it becoming a licensed LEGO theme didn't cross my mind. However, it makes much more sense than Spongebob, come to think of it. I'm skeptical about the movie, but those sets actually look pretty cool. Although they'd be better if it was just bringing back the Wild West sets, without the peaches and movie tie-in.
