The new design improves on a lot of things, still hype

Price and release date are TBA. Like all the other lego ideas releases, you can probably get them at stores and/or online.

I'm definitely going to get a couple of those and mod them for brikwars. Would probably work as a dreadnaught or something.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing. Hope they're like $30 each but if the size comparison is accurate it may end up being more expensive. It's almost like LEGO doesn't want us to have our DSM.

Actually does anyone know if the guy who made the model is booty bothered about his spacemen being yellows instead of peach? It's the dude who ran Neo-Classic Space right? Who insisted for some weird reason that all figures must be peach because it's fun to make arbitrary rules.

The guy already swapped the heads on his advance copy for peach, which caused a lot of confusion. I don't think he was vocal about it, probably hella hype of the final product and the green DSM. But yeah, NCS is a bit too circlejerky for my liking.

Anyhow, there's a bunch of insider news about the set's creation here - http://t.co/4nBghj4Cg6

Search for the posts of lego_nabii, that's the set designer (Mark Stafford I believe), lots of interesting details!

If Monty Python figures were planned, that's not what they would look like. For one thing, the Patsy has too many parts. For another, they're all using either home made decals or regular lego torsos.

Very interesting discussion on Reddit. I'm excited to get my first (neo) classic space figures. I think Exploriens was the first space set I ever got (I remember having their base but it no longer is in my house so who knows if I dreamed it). I like the green color but they won't match with all my ADU troopers and my pink space girl.
