Re: The official LOOT topic
Bricklink order finally arrived today. I'm pretty sure I got a free extra olive green cheese slope, but I might just suck at counting (all of those piles are supposed to be 10).

Re: The official LOOT topic
My payment for grocery shopping so close to the start of the school year - have you BEEN in Target or something similar today? It was early in the morning, and I haven't seen crowds like that since the last time I tried shopping on a Friday evening!!!:
Got the Throne Room Showdown set because... well, it is chock full of swords - seriously, the number of swords in this set is INSANE!!!
I mean, LOOK AT THIS!!! 2 Red swords, 7 Black, 6 Gold, 2 BIG gold, 3 sai, 1 scimitar...
Got the 4-pack of Ninjago figures for the Air Pirates. Seriously, now that Unikitty and Harry Potter are dominating the minifig packs, these are my best source for Castle/Pirate figures other than Bricklink. Love the air pirates for some reason. I'm trying to track down more of them, but I'm also resisting the urge to mix them with Chima bits to make the Iron Vulture...

I saw that Showdown set and it looks really tempting.

Re: The official LOOT topic
I'm not really that into the Ninjago stuff (though the movie was fun - especially those weird mechs), but the sets are pretty fun to build. Throne Room Showdown actually feels a little like the old 80's/90's Castle stuff - hinged walls to allow posing for different locations, nice little hidden surprises (I won't give it away, but the throne itself is kind of cool), and appealing style.Falk wrote:I saw that Showdown set and it looks really tempting.

Re: The official LOOT topic
New cupboard I got from my grandmother, to replace the old one (that was as old as I am, and I used to use as my secondary table, which I hosted quite a few forum battles on, including the first one: Grave Tidings).
It has more storage space especially since the bottom drawer of the old one was stuck.
The top drawer holds my scifi mocs. The other drawers hold less exciting stuff (brick boxes, minifig boxes, instructions, unused polybags...)
