Is that snowman holding a new piece? I'm hoping it's the 2L bar I've been wishing for in LDD for so long.

Apparently my brother wanted to get me the Super Star Destroyer but his wife was against it. Well, better luck next year!

Rayhawk what the fuck is that?

Okay anyway, today I went and bought the Mountain Hut set. Which apparently is a 2014 set? The price scanner at Walmart didn't work on it, so some girl with a scanner gun hit it and it was $49.86 Canadian.

WHAT THE EFF THAT IS LIKE LESS THAN 10¢ A PIECE

So I bought it. I have never seen such an incredible deal here in Canada. (Obviously Brick Link has better deals but whatever stfu okay.) Is this thing even supposed to be sold right now? I couldn't find the price marker for it on the shelf and Peeron doesn't even list it. Brickipedia says it is a 2014 set. The fuck?

Are things really more expensive in Canada, or is the currency worth more money there so it all balances out and it basically costs the same in America?

It's the former. Things are more expensive in Canada.. and they usually contain more salt too.

Some of the 2014 sets have already been released in retail Natalya (creator, city and ninjago sets AFAIK). Probably some Saturnalia double-dipping or something.

My main Manly Santa Day haul:

Pics are too big I guess. Anyways, no Lego this year. I did get quite a few gift cards, so, I dunno if I'll get any or not. I'll have to see if any out there would be good for my army. Most of the stuff left for me to get is online.

Turns out one of our local retailers already stocked in 2014 HF, so I've bought this:

and got this on a discount:

Another big haul thing because holiday mail piled up:

I finally completed my Slizer collection with Blaster, got the much-coveted childhood Competition set 'Cyber Strikers', a few bargain bonkles, a snakeman from ninjago and a birdman from chima (both of which were belated Yule gifts).
