Single bricks can change their shape into various weapons, figures, animals and devices.

Though I'm unsure of the ABS quality and I doubt non-lego brands, this is damn cool.

I don't see the appeal of transforming, especially with their licensed themes.

the promotional images of these look pretty badass. I have doubts about the quality of the actual product however.

Honestly, these look cleverly engineered but like they would be terrible to actually attempt to build with. All those tiny ball joints are just going to come apart at first try attaching them to other bricks.

I don't actually like these briks. Not for ABS quality, not for the joints or trouble building with them, but because I feel that a product like this actually takes the imagination out of the build process.

Congratulations, you have a brik that turns into a minifig - I view this as a challenge. Can I build the same thing with conventional parts? It may be difficult, or perhaps impossible - but it takes far more effort to actually create something than use something like this, and with better results at the end.

I just don't like em. Sorry chappes and chappettes.

My biggest beef is that I would never be transforming them. A speargun that turns into a 2x4 brick is great, but I would probably just rather have a 2x4 brick in that situation.

I think it is cool to have parts like those but it would be much more cooler if you can build similar mechanisms with LEGO brand pieces.

Actually, I don't plan to buy any products from this clone brand but I thought that this is the right place to share when I saw shape shifting brik weapons.

The problem lies within the dissonance between the 'gimmick' and the actual play pattern of construction toys. The completed models don't transform, only the core piece, which you have to strip bare and then reapply the pieces. Kinda feels like a silly stunt, their version of "here's how we're different from lego".

Hey, that's funny. These Ionix guys are actually just my old partners from LEGO Concept Lab ten years ago. These are the guys who helped me cook up the pitch that became the LEGO Minifigures line, among other things.

Mike's actually involved in a global conspiracy to destroy lego from the inside out.
