Elysium had some pretty awesome robots and weapons.

Will definitely was/is aware of that prop, but in terms of this wave of accessories, he thought the AK-APOC was a better selection as item to fill the scifi/apoc niche.

A few folks have mentioned the Elyisum prop, so I suppose it's always an option for the future!

The AK-APOC looks a lot like Fallout 3's version. Is that what it's supposed to be?

It's suppose to be and is the BrickArms AK-APOC, but yes, Will was definitely inspired by the Fallout Type 93 rifle.

I already have some of all of these and I can confirm that they are pretty awesome. I still want to see that RPD and M16A2-GL in production though; sorry if that's considered asking for a release date.

This is the Brikwars forums not the brickarms forums. You can ask for as many fucking release dates as you want. Here you get banned for concurring not for asking questions.
The only thing is that there is no guarantee that your request will be taken seriously as Stubby has show us with his torturous release dates.

I don't care as much about that as I do the two aforemented weapons.

Also, I would like to suggest the possibility of making a Saiga or Vepr style shotgun to go with these new AKs?

Perfectly fine for you to ask, although all I can say (and honestly know!) is that Will knows folks are definitely interested in those two items. I'm definitely a fan of those as well, so I'll keep my fingers crossed with you they make their way into a production mold at some point, sooner being better than later!

Heh, folks don't get banned on the BAF for asking either, although they do usually just get pointed to this form reply: http://www.brickarmsforums.com/viewtopic.php?f=59&t=55

Place to let Will know that's something you'd like to see: http://www.brickarmsforums.com/viewtopi ... =40&t=5488

The post-apoc AK seems to have a Galil-style handguard.

You know what would make your AKs a bit cooler and realistic? Making a hole in the flash hiders. Perhaps even wide enough to allow folks to put flame bricks on the sides in order to simulate the side blaze from the muzzle.

Anyways, they're looking pretty good!

Will has done flash hinders like that for the BrickArms M2HB barrel:

However, the main issue, to my limited understanding of accessory production, is that this type of design requires pins that insert perpendicularly to the plane of the mold which drastically increases the overall complexity of the mold (read: mucho, mucho $$$ to have made).

If the AK-12 had the mag removed, and was replaced with a mounting point for the existing Brickarms drum magazine designs like the PPSH, then I'd be all over it.

For something like this?:

Seems neat to me, and I'm a big fan of Will's modular box/drum magazines, too. I'll pass the suggestion onto Will!
