Clearly this particular ruby has genuine significance to his global takeover plot, or else the Agency would not have bothered with this particular mission, leaving it in the hands of the FBI or CIA.

After all, what's a good take-over-the-world plan without several "lesser" crimes to cover up the conspiracy?

But who says it's a normal ruby?

Perhaps it's really just the philosopher/sorcerer stone in disguise!?

Maybe it's used to focus a giant death ray.

But why stop at two towers and a building? Why not crash into the world?

Lego already did that once, I think it was first year Alpha Team. The box insets were a map of the major American cities that Ogel was going to destroy, and scenes of their burnination.

Apparently, coming right on the heels of 9/11 v1.0, this didn't go over well with parents of younger kids who have trouble distinguishing box graphics from reality.

i'm also tired of 9/11 conspirators. do i need to send you to maddox, or will you just believe me that 9/11 being a conspiracy is complete and utter baloney and completely made up?

What's wrong with complete and utter baloney? Have you got something against religion?

I think we had this conversation once before, and concluded that the people who believe in religion and public education are causing a lot more damage than the people who believe that scientists can somehow calculate the maximum temperature of burning jet fuel. Go after those baloneyists first, and then get back to us.

The maximum temperature of burning jet fuel is "Ouch!".

On a scale of:
Brrrr
Ahhh
Ouch!

seems reasonable, but if you test long enough, somehow it always seems to return to ahhh, no matter how violently it might still be burning
