New Rail Gun and Other Stuff...

Post by ace121 » Sat Feb 07, 2009 4:08 pm

I couldn't find my original topic of my creations, so here's a new one. Feel free to merge if you feel like it.

Anyway, a lot of stuff has happened since I stopped posting a while back, what with school and all, but I still have had time to get a lot of building in, and I switched over to Flickr instead of the old brickshelf thing. Only thing is, I'm too cheap to shell out 25 bucks for a 1 year 'Pro' membership, but whatever.

First thing, you'll probably recognize as a much improved version of my last rail gun attempt, which was a multi-coloured, blocky, piece of crap on Duplo tracks. With the purchase of the diesel RC train, I made a better accompanying rail gun. This barrel is actuallt about six studs shorter, but is more sturdy, more dark grey, and more lego tracky.

You may also remember that I have always wanted one of those good 'ol technics maxi-figures for the express purpose of giving him a really big gun to hold. I finally got one through shady 'business' with my cousin.

And, finally, it was my intent to enter the SHIP competition. Unfortunately, I got too busy with other stuff and forgot. Regardless, I ended up building a very small SHIP (That's a pretty big contradiction).

In retrospect after looking at the entries, I probably would have lost, at the very least to Doc X's entry.

Please feel free to comment and provide constructive criticism. Also, you may want to check out the rest of my account page, since there are also quite a lot of other smaller things there that I didn't bother mentioning here :) .[/url]

They're all great.

Gee, that's a real intuitive constructive piece of advice to better myself as a builder

Glad you like them, anyway.

I'm not a building expert, so I can't give criticism THAT constructive. :?

It'd help if we could see the pictures. They're way too dark.
