Biggest sets

Post by OneEye589 » Fri Feb 13, 2009 8:23 pm

I am curious.

I just bought Temple of the Crystal Skull today and it's 929 pieces. It was extremely fun to build. I have never had a set with SO MANY pieces to put together. Usually I build my sets quite quickly, but this one took me well over an hour, maybe even two.

What is the biggest set all of you have gotten and put together?

Old ATAT. Great set. Soon, I will buy the ATTE, which is almost as big.

The UCS Rebel Blockade Runner, the thing took me weeks to finish.

UCS Millenium Falcon is the biggest set ever. At least in number of pieces.

But I haven't got it. The biggest I ever had is the 2007 Trade Federation MTT.

My biggest set is Fort Legoredo. But it has just 673 parts despite being so big.

My biggest set is 10185 Green Grocer. It has 2352 pieces.
Often, literally, a pillow fight but may include similar situations like volleyball, particularly when wardrobe is skimpy and the action is bouncy.

If you had followed the link, you'd've seen that it is CAD 219.99.

My parents always buy me a crapload of stuff for Manly Santa Day.

Really, it was that bad huh? Damn, I was tempted to buy that one for my son... well, ok for my son and me.

Mars Mission base with shuttle... no idea how many pieces but I built it on Manly Santa Day Eve/Manly Santa Day and it took ages. The damn thing was a misery. I guess I'm not as quick at building as I used to be.

Recently? ATTE. Took me about 2-3 hours.

I had a couple other long builds. The old crane set took a couple hours, and i once had this cityfront set...
