She is a small lateen-rigged clipper, heavily armed with a cannon set on a swivel. Her mission is to hunt pirates in the warm southern sea, though she does more running than fighting these days.
She is crewed by Capt. Isaiah Harke, who was given this posting as punishment for cruelty to prisoners of war, and Grenadier Dobson.
The Hare:
The Hare is a fore-and-aft rigged clipper. Her usual role is as a smuggling ship, which She excels at due to her low draft and excellent tacking capabilities. She carries no heavy armaments, as these would only slow her down. She is crewed by Capt. Tom Foley a brilliant sailor and navigator, and Monty Brunan, who has a reputation as the best swordfighter in the southern hemisphere. (One that he has earned through many a duel).
